We are looking for a highly skilled HR Director to lead human resources operations within a manufacturing setting in Radford, Virginia. This role requires a balanced approach, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution to address organizational needs effectively. Job Responsibility:
Oversee all aspects of HR operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with regulations
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee relations and workplace culture
Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
Lead recruitment efforts, including talent acquisition strategies and onboarding processes
Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, including performance management and conflict resolution
Ensure adherence to HR policies and compliance standards across the organization
Utilize HRIS systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate employee records
Collaborate with leadership to identify and address workforce planning and organizational development needs
Drive initiatives to support employee engagement and retention
Monitor industry trends to recommend updates to HR practices and policies
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of HR compliance standards and employment laws
Proven ability to manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues effectively
Expertise in compensation, benefits administration, and payroll management
Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems and data management
Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving HR strategies and initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
