We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join a well-respected organization in Santa Rosa, Ca. This role is integral to providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of human resources operations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and strong internal support
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, policies, and proper recordkeeping practices
Partner closely with Finance and other departments to align on organizational priorities
Lead employee relations efforts, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively
Manage compensation structures and benefits programs to remain competitive and equitable
Collaborate with payroll to maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data and processing
Direct talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning and recruitment strategies
Drive performance management processes and support employee development initiatives
Design and implement training and leadership development programs
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead continuous improvement efforts
Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives
Requirements:
10 years of progressive HR management with a minimum of 5 years of experience at the Director level capacity
Must have prior management experience in government or nonprofit organizations to be considered.
Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR compliance laws, including state and federal regulations
Proficiency in managing compensation, benefits, and payroll operations
Experience in workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
Demonstrated ability to lead performance management and employee development initiatives
Skilled in policy development, organizational change management, and process improvement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of conflict resolution
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
