We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead human resources operations and strategy within our organization. Based in Post Falls, Idaho, this role will oversee HR activities across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive, unified workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.
Job Responsibility:
Manage HR operations for the business unit, providing oversight and guidance to manufacturing sites and supervising HR staff at designated locations
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies that support organizational goals and operational objectives
Serve as the primary advisor to leadership on matters concerning culture, talent management, organizational design, and HR strategies
Lead the annual merit and performance review processes, as well as succession planning initiatives
Promote a strong and unified workplace culture by recommending and implementing employee relations practices that enhance engagement and morale
Design and execute a comprehensive performance management strategy aligned with business growth and objectives
Identify opportunities for cost savings and productivity improvements within HR operations, ensuring initiatives remain within budget and timelines
Oversee payroll, employee benefits, compensation programs, and talent acquisition and development activities
Track and manage HR projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational priorities
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining high standards in employee relations and HR practices
Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in relevant field (e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration)
Specialized skills in organizational planning, compensation, performance and talent management a plus
Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development
Strong management and communication skills
8-10 years’ experience in human resources, increasing responsibility within the human resources department is required
HR leadership in a manufacturing environment preferred
Regular travel to company sites expected
Proficiency with general computer skills
SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
