Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Irvine, California. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with employment regulations, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR operations. As this is a long-term contract position, it offers the opportunity to contribute to organizational goals while gaining valuable experience in human resources.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct virtual reviews of I-9 documents using tools such as Microsoft Teams
monitor and track the completion status of employee I-9 documents
identify and follow up with associates who require additional documentation or updates
ensure compliance with California state laws regarding employee verification processes
utilize HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro, to maintain accurate employee records
assist with auditing employee files to ensure proper documentation and compliance
support benefits administration and related HR functions
facilitate background checks and ensure the thoroughness of the screening process
communicate effectively with employees and management to address HR-related inquiries

Requirements:

Proficiency in HR software, including ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and UKG Pro
experience with virtual document review and tracking processes
knowledge of California state labor laws and compliance standards
strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and management
prior experience in benefits administration and auditing employee records
familiarity with conducting background checks and using ATS systems
ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
