We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy human resources department. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees and provide administrative support across onboarding, benefits, payroll, and compliance initiatives.
Job Responsibility
Provide general HR administrative support, including responding to employee inquiries and supporting daily operations
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
Coordinate onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, system setup, and orientation
Conduct or coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications
Support and deliver new hire orientation and assist with training coordination
Serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers
assist with benefits-related questions and enrollments
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
Support employee relations by answering questions related to policies, time-off requests, and payroll
Assist with offboarding and termination processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
4+ years of HR experience in a coordinator or administrative capacity
At least 2 years of payroll processing experience
Working knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations, compensation, and compliance
Familiarity with federal and state employment laws
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
Nice to have
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
