We are looking for an organized HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. This position supports a wide range of human resources activities, including employee onboarding, compliance tracking, benefits coordination, reporting, and internal communications. The role is well suited for someone who can manage confidential information carefully, respond to employee questions with professionalism, and keep multiple HR processes running smoothly.
Job Responsibility
Oversee employment eligibility documentation by reviewing Form I-9 records, addressing missing information, and helping maintain compliance with federal requirements
Update and maintain employee information in the HRIS, process status changes, and support data integrity through routine audits and reporting
Prepare and distribute HR communications, including onboarding materials, policy notices, benefits updates, and company-wide announcements using mail merge and related tools
Assist with benefits administration by responding to employee questions, supporting open enrollment activities, and coordinating with external benefits partners when needed
Help administer onboarding activities, including candidate screening coordination, documentation tracking, and new employee communication
Support HR compliance efforts by maintaining required records, assisting with policy-related updates, and coordinating labor law posting requirements across work locations
Maintain the company holiday schedule and communicate calendar updates and observances to employees across locations
Create HR reports, presentations, and organizational chart updates while keeping departmental files and records accurate and audit-ready
Provide day-to-day administrative support for the HR team, including organizing invoices, tracking documentation, and resolving routine employee inquiries
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience supporting HR operations, HR administration, or HR compliance activities
Hands-on experience with I-9 review processes, employment documentation, and compliance-related recordkeeping
Practical knowledge of HRIS platforms, including experience maintaining employee data and generating reports. ADP Workforce Now a must
Background in onboarding support, employee communications, and general HR administrative coordination
Familiarity with benefits administration and the ability to assist with employee benefit questions and enrollment activities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
