This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in supporting human resources functions with a focus on compliance and risk management within the banking industry. Ideal candidates will bring a strong attention to detail and familiarity with federal credit union policies.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate onboarding processes, ensuring all new hires meet organizational and compliance standards
Manage and track background checks for new and existing employees, maintaining confidentiality throughout
Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records in HRIS systems
Ensure adherence to HR compliance guidelines, particularly within the banking and federal credit union sectors
Collaborate with leadership to support risk management initiatives across the organization
Review and enforce credit union policies to align with federal and state regulations
Provide assistance in resolving employee concerns and issues while maintaining a careful and discreet approach
Monitor and update HR documentation to reflect current policies and procedures
Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
Support other HR-related projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR or legal roles within the banking industry
Strong understanding of risk management practices and compliance requirements
Familiarity with federal credit union policies and guidelines
Proficient in HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee records
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams
Experience with onboarding processes
