Our client in the construction industry is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations and help ensure a positive employee experience across the organization. This role is ideal for a professional who can balance administrative responsibilities with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
Job Responsibility
Support daily human resources operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee file maintenance
Assist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS and personnel systems
Help administer employee benefits, leave tracking, and payroll-related documentation
Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
Support compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and workplace safety requirements
Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and other administrative documentation
Assist with new employee orientation and training coordination
Partner with hiring managers and internal departments to support workforce needs
Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, events, and communications
Requirements
2+ years of human resources or administrative experience, preferably in construction, trades, or a related industry
Strong understanding of HR administrative processes and employee records management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Knowledge of employment law, compliance practices, and benefits administration preferred
Experience supporting a field-based or multi-site workforce
Familiarity with payroll support, safety documentation, or credential tracking
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
