We are looking for an organized HR Coordinator to support key human resources activities for a well-established company in Piscataway, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position will assist with employee onboarding, documentation management, compliance-related processes, and administrative coordination for HR leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to HR leadership, including calendar support, document preparation, and follow-up on departmental tasks
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires by preparing paperwork, tracking pre-employment steps, and helping ensure a smooth start to employment
Maintain accurate and organized personnel records while supporting updates and audits of employee files
Help facilitate background screening and related hiring documentation in alignment with company policies and timelines
Support HR projects by gathering information, tracking progress, and assisting with implementation of department initiatives
Enter and update employee information in HR systems to help keep records current and reliable
Assist with compliance-focused processes by monitoring required documentation and helping maintain adherence to HR policies and regulations
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in human resources coordination, HR administration, or a related support role
Hands-on experience with onboarding activities and new employee documentation
Familiarity with candidate screening processes and general pre-employment administration
Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and accurate data entry practices
Understanding of HR compliance requirements and confidential record handling
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently
Clear written and verbal communication skills and a detail-focused, collaborative approach
