Job Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on HR function and enjoys balancing administrative HR support with employee-facing responsibilities. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, and general HR administration across both office and plant personnel.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate full-cycle onboarding for hourly and salaried manufacturing employees, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation scheduling
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Support HR Generalists and HR Manager with employee relations documentation and follow-up actions
  • Assist with timekeeping and attendance tracking, including supporting payroll-related audits and corrections
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates and hiring managers
  • Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, safety training tracking, and labor law requirements
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain confidential files in accordance with company policy

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience (manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred)
  • Exposure to HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, Paylocity, or similar)
  • Understanding of basic HR principles, employment laws, and confidentiality requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
