Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on HR function and enjoys balancing administrative HR support with employee-facing responsibilities. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, and general HR administration across both office and plant personnel.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate full-cycle onboarding for hourly and salaried manufacturing employees, including new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation scheduling
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data integrity and compliance
Support HR Generalists and HR Manager with employee relations documentation and follow-up actions
Assist with timekeeping and attendance tracking, including supporting payroll-related audits and corrections
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
Coordinate recruitment activities including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates and hiring managers
Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, safety training tracking, and labor law requirements
Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
Prepare HR reports and maintain confidential files in accordance with company policy
Requirements
1–3 years of HR or administrative experience (manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred)
Exposure to HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, Paylocity, or similar)
Understanding of basic HR principles, employment laws, and confidentiality requirements
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
