Job Description

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to provide dependable administrative support for human resources operations in Scottsdale, Arizona. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with sensitive information, and able to balance multiple requests in a fast-moving environment. The position will partner with HR teams supporting multiple business entities, helping maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and respond to compliance-related inquiries.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver day-to-day administrative assistance to HR teams serving multiple subsidiaries and business units
  • Prepare, update, and monitor spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools to support HR reporting needs
  • Gather information and coordinate timely responses for requests from government agencies, auditors, and outside partners
  • Research employee or compliance-related matters, organize findings, and draft clear summaries for review
  • Maintain HR documentation by filing, retrieving, and organizing records with a strong focus on accuracy and accessibility
  • Protect confidential employee and company information by following privacy standards and sound record-handling practices
  • Assist with onboarding support, screening coordination, and other core HR administrative activities as needed
  • Contribute to special projects related to compliance, audits, and broader HR initiatives assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • Prior experience in HR coordination, HR administration, compliance support, or a similar administrative role is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent record of accurate data entry and documentation management
  • Ability to manage several priorities at once, stay organized, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external contacts
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes, background checks, HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, and HR compliance activities is beneficial

Nice to have

Knowledge of I-9 compliance, I-9 audits, workers' compensation administration, or related HR support functions is a plus
