Walker Sands is growing, and our Talent team is looking for a detail-obsessed, fast-moving HR Coordinator to help us scale thoughtfully and efficiently. This role sits on a clear HR Generalist path and plays a critical role in both people operations and early-career recruiting, including ownership of our internship program. You’ll support the full employee lifecycle — from hiring and onboarding to HR data, employee questions, and core people processes — while also managing high-volume, entry-level recruiting with precision and care. The majority of the time you’ll be focused on Talent Acquisition, but we’re looking for someone who wants to play a pivotal role on our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on structure, loves improving processes, and can be trusted to run workflows independently and seamlessly. This role reports to the HR Generalist and partners closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition, Chief People Officer, hiring managers, and the broader Talent team.
Job Responsibility:
Own the full-cycle recruiting process for entry-level roles, including internships and early career positions
Manage the internship program, including recruiting, interview coordination, offer logistics, onboarding support, and learning program administration
Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs, timelines, and candidate profiles
Manage requisitions, candidates, and data in Greenhouse, ensuring accuracy and a strong candidate experience
Coordinate interviews efficiently and professionally, often across multiple teams and time zones
Interface with senior leadership to move candidates through the hiring process quickly and efficiently
Support sourcing efforts for early-career talent pipelines
Ensure all recruiting processes are compliant, organized, and consistently executed
Act as an ambassador for the brand with college visits, career fairs, and informational interviews with prospective candidates
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, onboarding, engagement, and everyday HR needs
Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS, performance management, applicant tracking and related systems
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, systems access, and exit interviews
Assist with benefits administration, including employee changes, open enrollment support, and coordination with payroll and vendors
Track, document, and support compliance-related activities
Coordinate recurring people processes such as performance or coaching cycles
Support HR reporting and audits by gathering and analyzing people data
Support the Talent team on policy updates, handbook maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR processes
Support internal resource groups as needed
Manage multiple workflows and deadlines simultaneously
Identify opportunities to improve HR and recruiting processes and help implement scalable solutions
Support the team by keeping up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and recruiting trends
Operate with a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism while modeling Walker Sands’ values
Proactively build relationships internally and externally to support the Walker Sands employer brand

Strong prioritization and follow-through skills
Comfortable working across teams, leadership styles, and competing priorities
