We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our client in McCarran, Nevada. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department by managing recruitment activities, overseeing onboarding processes, and maintaining employee records. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate recruitment efforts for entry-level through supervisor-level positions, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with hiring processes
Oversee onboarding activities such as conducting orientations, managing new permanent paperwork, and ensuring timely follow-up with employees
Maintain accurate employee records, including payroll data, personal information, and compliance documentation
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, providing clear and thorough guidance
Manage HR databases and systems, including Paylocity, to ensure data accuracy and efficiency in operations
Conduct audits of employee files and I-9 renewals to ensure compliance with federal and company guidelines
Organize and monitor employee certifications
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR coordinator or similar administrative role
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of HR databases and systems, particularly Paylocity
Familiarity with recruiting tools, such as resume databases and social media platforms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and external contacts
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
