We are looking for a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our client in the south metro, Minnesota area. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing onboarding processes, coordinating recruitment activities, and ensuring a seamless experience for new hires. This hybrid position offers an opportunity to work both on-site and remotely, with flexibility as the company undergoes organizational changes.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the onboarding process from candidate acceptance through their first day, ensuring all pre-employment activities are completed accurately
Manage interview scheduling, including onsite logistics and travel arrangements for candidates
Coordinate activities related to intern and co-op recruitment efforts
Develop first-day schedules for new hires and provide HR support during their initial week
Refine onboarding workflows and systems to align with the company’s transition to a standalone organization
Partner closely with HR Business Partners to address onboarding needs and resolve any challenges
Maintain a balance between process orientation and providing an excellent candidate experience
Handle a high volume of onboarding activities, typically managing 2–3 new hires per week
Ensure strong follow-up and communication to anticipate and resolve any issues during onboarding
Requirements:
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in HR coordination or a similar role
Proficiency in HR systems
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with candidates and team members effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes and provide solutions in a dynamic work environment
Experience with background checks, benefit functions, and auditing processes
Familiarity with ATS platforms and onboarding workflows
Commitment to delivering a positive and seamless onboarding experience for all new hires
