We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support recruiting and employee administration for a 2-3 month contract position based in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on coordinating interviews, engaging with candidates, and helping maintain a smooth hiring and onboarding process. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with HR systems such as Dayforce. This opportunity is expected to last two months or longer and follows a primarily onsite schedule in Houston, Texas.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate interview scheduling and manage candidate calendars to keep the hiring process moving efficiently.
Conduct initial candidate outreach to confirm compensation expectations, current job search status, and overall interest in available opportunities.
Create and maintain job advertisements across company career pages and external hiring platforms such as Indeed.
Support onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation follow-up and process coordination.
Assist with hiring process administration and ensure hiring steps are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate employee and candidate records within Dayforce and other HR systems.
Help monitor HR compliance requirements by keeping files organized and processes aligned with company standards.
Work closely with hiring teams and internal stakeholders to provide updates and ensure clear communication throughout recruitment activities.
Requirements
Prior experience in human resources coordination, recruiting support, or HR administration.
Working knowledge of onboarding processes, background checks, and candidate documentation.
Experience using an HRIS platform
familiarity with Dayforce is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and scheduling needs.
Clear and thorough communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a primarily onsite environment in Houston, Texas.
Understanding of HR compliance practices and the importance of accurate recordkeeping.
