We are looking for a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team in Itasca, Illinois. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to support key HR functions and contribute to creating a seamless employee and candidate experience. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR operations, onboarding, compliance, and talent management while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and enhance the onboarding process to ensure a consistent and positive new employee experience from offer acceptance through the first 30 days
Manage pre-boarding activities, including background checks, system access setup, and documentation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Facilitate orientation sessions, equipping new team members with the tools and knowledge needed for early success
Coordinate interview scheduling with efficiency and professionalism to maintain a positive candidate experience
Partner with hiring managers to optimize recruitment timelines and streamline the hiring process
Maintain and audit employee records in HR systems with utmost accuracy and confidentiality
Generate and analyze reports related to compliance, performance reviews, and talent management
Assist with the administration of talent assessments and leadership development programs
Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring timely processing of employee lifecycle changes, such as promotions, terminations, and transfers
Contribute to special projects, including system upgrades and process improvements, to enhance HR operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR operations, including onboarding and employee lifecycle management
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee records
Experience with MS Office, Paylocity, and/or G-Suite preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and HR best practices
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with employees and leadership
Familiarity with pre-employment requirements and related processes
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
