We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join a growing organization. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting day-to-day HR operations, improving administrative processes, and providing dependable service to employees and candidates. The role will contribute across recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee support while helping the HR team stay organized during a period of business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain employee records, enter HR data accurately in systems such as Workday, and prepare reports that support staffing and personnel tracking
Coordinate recruitment activities by posting openings, communicating with applicants, arranging interviews, and assisting with pre-employment steps
Support onboarding by collecting new employee paperwork, monitoring completion of required documents, and helping create a smooth start for employees
Assist with leave administration by tracking requests, organizing documentation, and providing day-to-day support related to employee absences
Help maintain compliance files, monitor key deadlines, and organize records needed for audits and employment law requirements
Respond to routine employee questions with professionalism and escalate more complex issues to the appropriate HR team members
Contribute to HR process development by helping document procedures and improve administrative workflows as the organization expands
Support performance review administration by tracking due dates, distributing materials, and maintaining related records
Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, or a related function is preferred
Familiarity with onboarding, HR administration, employee recordkeeping, or compliance support is preferred
Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday and payroll systems such as ADP is helpful
Understanding of basic federal and state employment regulations is a plus
Ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy, discretion, and strong attention to detail
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a consistently positive, team-oriented approach are essential
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
