Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling interviews, managing employee records, and maintaining HR databases
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, preparing documentation, and coordinating orientation sessions
Respond to employee requests and questions, escalating issues where necessary
Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring all files and paperwork are accurate and up to date
Help coordinate employee engagement activities, training sessions, and company events
Conduct initial screening of resumes for open positions and assist with recruitment processes
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and company information
Assist with benefits administration, timesheet collection, and payroll processing as needed
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in an administrative, HR, or office support role preferred
Associate degree or higher in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with HR processes, procedures, and best practices
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with sharp attention to detail
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and aptitude for learning HR Information Systems (HRIS)
Proven experience in an HR Coordinator or similar role
Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and HR administrative functions
Familiarity with compliance requirements and relevant procedures
Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR-related software systems
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
