Robert Half Lexington is looking for an experienced and organized HR Coordinator to join a team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to streamline and optimize HR processes while contributing to a stable and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient onboarding, maintaining compliance, and enhancing internal systems to support long-term organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and refine HR procedures, ensuring they align with current organizational needs and compliance standards
Update and maintain employee handbooks, ensuring policies are clear, accessible, and up-to-date
Organize and manage employee files, ensuring accurate documentation and secure storage
Streamline onboarding processes to create a seamless experience for new team members
Train and mentor the HR Assistant, focusing on their growth and preparing them for potential leadership opportunities
Implement and optimize HR systems to improve workflow efficiency and data management
Coordinate and monitor employee benefits, compensation, and compliance activities
Manage background checks and ensure timely completion for all new team members
Utilize HR platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to support payroll and administrative functions
Foster a positive and stable work environment, contributing to high employee retention rates
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR coordination or a similar role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and policies
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, ATS systems, and HRMS platforms
Solid knowledge of compliance standards related to HR operations
Experience with managing benefits and compensation processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and mentor team members
Familiarity with Ceridian and other HR tools is highly desirable
Ability to adapt to new systems and streamline processes for long-term efficiency
Nice to have:
Prior HR experience in manufacturing environment
