Job Description:

Robert Half Lexington is looking for an experienced and organized HR Coordinator to join a team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to streamline and optimize HR processes while contributing to a stable and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient onboarding, maintaining compliance, and enhancing internal systems to support long-term organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and refine HR procedures, ensuring they align with current organizational needs and compliance standards
  • Update and maintain employee handbooks, ensuring policies are clear, accessible, and up-to-date
  • Organize and manage employee files, ensuring accurate documentation and secure storage
  • Streamline onboarding processes to create a seamless experience for new team members
  • Train and mentor the HR Assistant, focusing on their growth and preparing them for potential leadership opportunities
  • Implement and optimize HR systems to improve workflow efficiency and data management
  • Coordinate and monitor employee benefits, compensation, and compliance activities
  • Manage background checks and ensure timely completion for all new team members
  • Utilize HR platforms such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to support payroll and administrative functions
  • Foster a positive and stable work environment, contributing to high employee retention rates

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR coordination or a similar role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and policies
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, ATS systems, and HRMS platforms
  • Solid knowledge of compliance standards related to HR operations
  • Experience with managing benefits and compensation processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and mentor team members
  • Familiarity with Ceridian and other HR tools is highly desirable
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and streamline processes for long-term efficiency

Prior HR experience in manufacturing environment
