Job Description:

The HR Controller/HR Hub Lead role at NTT DATA involves overseeing HR financial topics and managing the People Services team. In this role, you will hold dual responsibilities: as an HR Controller (70%), you will be involved in all financially relevant HR topics and work very closely with other People areas as well as global business partners. The tasks are diverse and range from annual budget planning to regular reporting and the implementation of cost center changes according to organizational management guidelines. As HR Hub Lead (30%), you are expected to manage the daily operations of the People Services team, ensuring efficient delivery of HR administrative tasks, employee queries and compliance. You drive process improvements, maintain high-quality service standards (SLAs/KPIs), and support employee relations and payroll, acting as the central hub for People Services.

Job Responsibility:

  • As HR Controller (70%): Provide standard reports for different target groups using HR reporting tools
  • Define and calculate HR-related KPIs (e.g., employee headcount, new hires, attrition)
  • Create ad-hoc queries for different target groups (e.g. management, departments, committees, works council)
  • Continuously develop the reporting and increase the level of automation
  • Determine absences, flextime balances and vacation provisions
  • Calculate salary increase budgets and severance payments, early retirement, and partial retirement as well as simulating pension entitlements
  • Set up new cost centers and positions and implementing cost center changes as well as creating migration balances
  • Be involved in the review of new system extensions and changes
  • As HR Hub Lead (30%): Manage the daily operations of the People Services team
  • Ensure efficient delivery of HR administrative tasks, employee queries and compliance
  • Drive process improvements, maintain high-quality service standards (SLAs/KPIs), and support employee relations and payroll, acting as the central hub for People Services

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in HR controlling
  • Very good knowledge of SAP (HCM, SuccessFactors) or a comparable HR information system
  • User knowledge in SAP BI and SAC is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willing to take over added responsibilities as Hub Lead and manage the People Services team
  • Analytical, independent, structured and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
  • Team player
  • Communicative, resilient, and keep a cool and clear head even during peak times
  • German and English skills are fluent in both written and spoken form
