An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to work alongside Thames Water managers providing the link between the operational business and our People team. You will deliver a professional, high quality and customer-focused HR service to our managers and leadership teams. You will be responsible for overseeing, facilitating, and carrying out generalist HR processes that in turn support Thames Water in the delivery of business objectives while enabling our employees to flourish. You will have the opportunity to build and manage internal relationships with key stakeholders to enhance and continually improve the quality of our HR service.
Job Responsibility
Support people managers with the employee lifecycle and implementation and delivery of our people strategy
Partnering effectively to deliver a high-quality HR service to our people
Provide expert advice and guidance to our people managers and leaders with recommendations to assist and influence decision-making
Analyse and interpret HR people data to measure and manage performance and communicate the results and findings to our leaders across the business
Making recommendations & advice following on from data analysis
Work with people managers and our Employee Relations team offering advice and support on cases and potential risks
Working closely with the HR teams across the business to support the delivery of business needs, ensuring strategies and planned benefits are understood and influencing HR thinking and solutions
Requirements
Experience across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines with an understanding of broad legal implications
Ability to lead and make strong and influential relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
Experience of HR change projects
Ability to analyse HR and business metrics and develop solutions
Skilled at making influential decisions in a business context, shaping and influencing others
Be comfortable challenging current practices and making recommendations for continuous improvement using successful change management
A solid understanding of employee engagement and how to coach leaders to understand and create value from them
Experienced in the implementation of people initiatives and able to develop metrics to measure impact
Associate Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) or equivalent with Membership or equivalent is desirable
What we offer
Competitive salary from £52,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
