On behalf of our client, Lawes is recruiting an experienced and commercially focused HR Consultant to deliver high-quality HR advice and support to a portfolio of SME clients. Job Responsibility:
Act as the primary HR advisor to a group of SME clients
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across varied industries
Provide expert guidance on HR policies, compliance, and employment law
Draft and update HR documentation including contracts and handbooks
Support and guide on employee relations matters such as performance, grievances, and disciplinary issues
Deliver training on core HR topics and adapt content to suit client needs
Contribute to projects such as compliance audits, engagement surveys, and settlement agreements
Requirements:
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent combination of qualification and experience)
Solid experience in an HR advisory or consultancy role
Proven track record in handling complex employee relations matters
Experience working with SME clients or within an HR consultancy setting is desirable
Background in the insurance sector is advantageous but not essential
