Job Description:

I am supporting a well-established business with their search for a HR Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity that will suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively. As a HR Consultant, you will work closely with predominantly SME clients to provide professional, commercially focused HR support and guidance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advising clients on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
  • Leading on and chairing relevant HR meetings
  • Providing guidance on employment law and HR best practice
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Leading on TUPE related activity
  • Advising clients on workforce changes - restructuring and redundancies
  • Providing solutions to complex people related issues
  • Drafting and updating HR documentation, policies, and contracts for a variety of clients
  • Delivering training sessions for clients

Requirements:

  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Led on ER cases
  • Practical experience of guiding through TUPE and redundancy activity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt your style depending on the audience
  • Pro-active and solutions focussed approach
