Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced HR Consultant / Senior Consutlant to deliver a broad range of HR support, from complex employee relations casework through to strategic HR consultancy and client development.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expert HR advice across the full employee lifecycle to a varied client base
  • Lead on complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancy and TUPE
  • Deliver commercially focused, legally compliant HR solutions aligned to client needs
  • Draft and review HR documentation including contracts, policies, reports and procedures
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact
  • Support client account management, renewals and ongoing service delivery
  • Design and deliver HR training sessions and workshops (virtual and in person)
  • Contribute to consultancy projects and wider HR initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to add value and support business development
  • Support marketing activity including content, networking and brand promotion
  • Maintain accurate client records and timesheets in line with internal systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ HR experience within a generalist role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially aware with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience managing client relationships or operating in a consultancy-style role
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using HR systems

Nice to have

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above)
  • Experience designing and delivering training
  • Experience working with SMEs
