Job Description

Citadel Source is partnering with a reputable waste management business in Newport to recruit an HR, Compliance & Payroll Admin Assistant. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the HR and compliance function, supporting the line manager with administrative tasks while also running the payroll for the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Process and verify weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain payroll records (starters, leavers, salary changes, deductions)
  • Support the HR & Compliance Manager with regulatory and policy compliance
  • Handle payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance records are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR or payroll is desirable but not essential
  • Strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
