Job Description:

The People Compliance Consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring that the Group complies with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements relating to the recruitment and the ongoing employment of our workforce. You will develop and implement compliance processes and policies relating to right to work and criminal checks (as a priority) and design and implement frameworks to ensure governance is effective, compliant and future-ready.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure that the Group complies with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements relating to the recruitment and the ongoing employment of our workforce
  • Develop and implement compliance processes and policies relating to right to work and criminal checks
  • Design and implement frameworks to ensure governance is effective, compliant and future-ready

Requirements:

  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in compliance frameworks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and update internal policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Develop and implement compliance audits and assessments to evaluate compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Support learning and development for employees and stakeholders to raise awareness of compliance requirements, processes and best practices
  • Stay informed about relevant changes and ensure that our framework adheres to updated standards and requirements
  • Work closely with external partners/regulators to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • deliver and improve performance against People metrics
  • Use data, insight and reporting to measure/track and improve performance and inform decisions
  • Maintain current and accurate information within the HRIS and produce robust management information aligned to business needs
  • support the branch network to drive cultural alignment
