Job Description

One of Australia's leading audio production companies is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team, based in Homebush West. In this role, you will support and administer key HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, induction training, workers compensation/return-to-work processes, employee records management and WHS compliance. We’re seeking a personable, highly organised individual with strong attention to detail, who enjoys taking on a variety of tasks and contributing to a supportive, collaborative workplace.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and assisting with position descriptions
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain employment contracts and other related HR documentation, as required
  • Provide general HR guidance and support for employees and management, as required
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction training for new employees and ensure annual compliance for mandatory training requirements
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee data in our HRIS (Employment Hero)
  • Support payroll administration, including providing accurate HR data and assisting with pay changes, terminations, and leave
  • Administer workers compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work programs
  • Maintain WHS documentation, coordinate WHS committee meetings, and monitor safety incidents to ensure compliance
  • Assist with other HR duties as directed, including but not limited to performance management, training, and general reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and/or relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Experience in the live entertainment industry is highly desirable
  • Experience with HR Information systems (Employment Hero preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Friendly, approachable, and collaborative, with a practical, solution-oriented mindset

Nice to have

Experience in the live entertainment industry is highly desirable
