Job Description:

A Business Unit Manager role, key to the HR Business Execution team for US Personal Banking HR and Wealth HR. Responsibilities include driving employee lifecycle processes, managing key initiatives, strategic planning, HR governance, and serving as an advisor to senior HR leadership. This position is a high-impact, dynamic role requiring expertise within financial services, project management, and communication strategy.

Job Responsibility:

  • provide support to Sr. HR Officer on ad hoc projects and serve as a delegate for the head of HR business execution
  • lead the development, execution, and promotion of internal business messaging and communications strategy
  • organize and participate in strategic meetings to assess communication needs
  • advance organizational and people strategy goals through integrated communication strategies, talent initiatives, and employee engagement efforts
  • leverage technology and tools to enable effective communications
  • serve as a liaison between HRA teams and enterprise-wide teams to ensure cohesive communication
  • serve as a point of contact and relationship manager to Sr. HR Advisor clients
  • lead HR project management for key HR lifecycle processes and initiatives
  • design, execute, and govern methodologies, procedures, and routines ensuring KPIs and milestones are effectively tracked
  • manage workforce planning and expenses for HR team
  • develop, manage, and report monthly metrics to monitor and measure the impact of initiatives
  • drive productivity and cost-savings initiatives
  • demonstrate risk management and compliance

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years progressive work experience
  • proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
  • proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry
  • consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent organizational and project management skills
  • communications or marketing experience preferred
  • adept at building and managing relationships with senior executives and internal stakeholders, navigating competing interests and providing opposing viewpoints productively
  • collaborative work style
  • effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies/geographies
  • leadership presence
  • commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders
  • bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience
  • master’s degree preferred
