Argenta is seeking an HR Business Partner to join our Global team. This role is responsible for delivering both strategic and operational people support at our Shawnee, Kansas site, with a strong focus on talent development, culture growth, and organisational effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist looking to step into a true HR Business Partner role, broadening their impact and partnering more closely with senior leaders. The role partners closely with business leaders to understand current and future capability needs, translating business strategy, organisational priorities, and value creation plans into impactful people initiatives. Operating within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in building leadership capability, strengthening organisational culture, and embedding high-performance practices across teams. Combining hands-on HR delivery with strategic people advisory, this role is critical in shaping a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Job Responsibility:
Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, aligning people priorities to Argenta’s growth strategy and value creation plan
Support and coach leaders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance, engagement, development, and organisational effectiveness
Drive talent development initiatives, including succession planning, capability building, and leadership development
Partner with leaders to strengthen team effectiveness, build high-performing cultures, and embed an ownership mindset
Support the delivery of key HR processes including performance management, talent reviews, and employee engagement activities
Provide hands-on operational HR support, ensuring a consistent and high-quality employee experience
Use data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across people practices
Support organisational design and change initiatives aligned to business transformation and growth
Promote and embed Argenta’s values and culture across all teams and interactions
Partner with the Global HR team to deliver broader people initiatives and projects across the business.
Requirements:
Experience in a broad, operational HR Generalist role, ideally within a CDMO or the pharma industry
Ready to step into an HR Business Partner role, with a desire to grow
Strong foundation across the full employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee relations, and development
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Passion for talent development, culture, and building high-performing teams
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with a hands-on approach
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance people needs and business priorities
High level of commercial awareness and curiosity about how people drive business performance
Experience within high-growth, or transformation-led environments is advantageous.
