Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in Human Resources who thrive in a manufacturing environment and enjoy providing hands-on support to employees. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless HR operations and compliance while supporting the day-to-day needs of the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for approximately 30 employees, addressing daily operational and employee needs
  • Ensure compliance with Colorado-specific labor laws and payroll regulations to maintain adherence to legal standards
  • Conduct audits and reviews of payroll data, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including maintaining accurate employee records
  • Generate and manage HR reports using Workday and Excel to support data analysis and decision-making
  • Address recurring HR issues and escalate integration-specific concerns to leadership for further action
  • Administer routine payroll adjustments, corrections, and related documentation with precision
  • Provide guidance and support to employees during organizational transitions, fostering stability and clarity
  • Act as a local HR expert, offering insights and assistance to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing facility

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on manufacturing or production environments
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, Colorado labor laws, and payroll regulations
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday, as well as advanced Excel skills for reporting purposes
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a lean environment while maintaining high responsiveness
  • Demonstrated track record of stability and commitment in previous roles
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset to support employees effectively
  • Experience coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes within a detail-oriented setting
  • Familiarity with employee relations and performance management in a manufacturing context
