Job Description

Campbell Property Group (CPG), one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at our Norwest Head Office. As the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive performance and employee engagement across the organisation. The role is pivotal in fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement, ensuring that HR practices contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with department managers to understand their business goals and align HR strategies accordingly
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that support business growth objectives
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, support, and resolution
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related issues
  • Lead regular wellbeing check-ins to address absenteeism and ensure proper support provided to managers and those with genuine health concerns
  • Conduct investigations and address employee complaints or concerns in a fair and timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, to foster a positive work environment, addressing and escalating employee concerns proactively
  • Collaborate with and coach managers to implement performance management processes that drive high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related issues
  • Work collaboratively with the L&D Advisor to ensure all employees are regularly trained in performance review processes
  • Support and manage change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of organisational change
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders and mitigate resistance
  • Ensure that HR data is accurate and supports decision-making processes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS, providing expertise in system configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to optimise HR systems functionality and usability
  • Work collaboratively with the L&D Advisor to train end-users on HRIS systems and processes
  • Mitigate HR-related risks through proactive support and adherence to best practices
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organisation
  • Share best practices, knowledge, and resources to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements

  • Previous HR Business Partner experience
  • Human Resource management qualification or currently completing or willingness to complete one
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, principles and legislation
  • Proven track record of implementing HR initiatives to support business goals
  • Understanding of business operations and financials
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
