Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for an HR Business Partner to provide broad human resources support in a dynamic, fast-moving environment in Smyrna, Georgia. This Long-term Contract opportunity (possibly contract to hire) will serve as a key partner to the HR Director, helping guide day-to-day HR operations, employee support, and people-related initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong generalist expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work closely with leadership, operations teams, and employees while maintaining exceptional accuracy and follow-through.
Job Responsibility:
Partner closely with the HR Director to support daily human resources activities and help execute people strategies across the business
Manage core HR generalist responsibilities, including employee relations matters, policy guidance, documentation, and administrative support
Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers by addressing workplace concerns, answering HR-related questions, and promoting consistent policy application
Conduct and support employee relations reviews and workplace investigations with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Collaborate with operational leaders to align workforce needs with HR processes and maintain effective communication between departments
Lead and coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, with particular value placed on experience supporting employees based in Georgia
Help establish and maintain HR processes tied to new business initiatives and support teams operating in both local and expanding markets
Contribute to performance management efforts by assisting leaders with employee coaching, documentation, and related HR practices
Support HR systems, reporting, and process administration, including work involving Paycor when applicable
Maintain organized records and ensure HR activities are handled accurately within a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in human resources with strong exposure to HR business partner or HR generalist responsibilities
Demonstrated background in employee relations, HR policy interpretation, and workplace investigations
Experience working closely with operations leadership, employees, and HR teams to support business needs
Strong knowledge of HR administration and performance management practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail
Must be able to work onsite in Smyrna, Georgia and remain flexible to commute to a future metro-area location long term - company likely moving to Buckhead or Midtown Atlanta in 2027
Nice to have:
Prior experience onboarding employees within Georgia is strongly preferred
Familiarity with Paycor is a significant advantage
