This HR position is created to support the implementation and operational ramp-up of a Shared Service Center (SSC) handling transactional finance activities (P2P, R2R, O2C, Credit Management, Master Data) for the US/Canada and Europe regions over an 18-month period.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to source candidates with the skills required for SSC functions (P2P, R2R, O2C, etc.)
Manage candidate pipelines and ensure a smooth onboarding process
Ensure proper setup of contracts, payroll, and employee records for new hires aligned with local regulations and SSC standards
Facilitate international workforce mobility when applicable
Track employee data and maintain compliance with legal, tax, and procedural requirements across regions
Implement initiatives to build a strong organizational culture within the SSC
Develop and deliver onboarding programs tailored to the SSC environment and SAP requirements
Collaborate with the Finance HRBP to ensure employees benefit from career development plans, training, and performance management tools
Support managers in driving engagement and motivation within the team during periods of change
Act as the key HR partner for employees working in the SSC platform, serving as the point of coordination between functional and geographic HR teams
Resolve day-to-day HR queries
Monitor HR performance metrics related to SSC staffing, turnover, and engagement
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of HR procedures including recruiting, compensation, workforce development, and compliance in Portugal
Experience supporting transformation projects such as shared service implementation and ramp-up phases
Clear understanding of workforce planning, administrative HR frameworks, and employment regulations across multinational contexts
Ability to act as a trusted advisor and HR partner for managers and employees
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across HRBP structures in Finance and Portugal
Flexibility and diplomacy managing multicultural and cross-regional interactions
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment with tight deadlines
Experience driving organizational change and navigating periods of transition
Fluency in English is required
knowledge of Portuguese and/or French would be an advantage
