We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization by providing essential support in human resource management and ensuring compliance with workplace policies. Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage Labor & Industries (L&I) processes, including compliance reporting, workplace safety protocols, and employee claims
Respond to inquiries related to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies, assisting with documentation and data entry requirements
Support HR initiatives by addressing backlog tasks and ensuring the timely completion of essential projects
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all HR documentation and records
Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to resolve challenges and optimize workflows
Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling, data entry, and filing to support HR operations
Facilitate employee relations investigations and ensure adherence to organizational policies
Assist with performance management processes and contribute to the development of HR strategies
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration
Knowledge of HR policies and compliance standards, including familiarity with FMLA
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficiency in using HR software, particularly ADP Online
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear and detail-oriented email correspondence
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience conducting employee relations investigations and supporting performance management
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team setting
