Approximately 75% of the role involves travel to visit locations, with the remaining 25% working remotely in the St. Louis area.
Job Responsibility:
Lead recruiting and onboarding for new hires (sourcing, interviews, orientation, paperwork)
Partner with leaders to provide HR guidance, coaching, and support employee satisfaction
Serve as an HR expert on policies, benefits, and employee relations
Drive employee engagement and enhance the overall employee experience
Ensure compliance with employment laws
partner with Legal on complex issues
Advise managers, providers, and staff on HR-related matters
Evaluate training programs and identify skill gaps
Support performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution with proper documentation
Build strong relationships to improve morale, retention, and productivity
Assess workforce needs and support restructuring and succession planning
Help deliver programs that strengthen performance and engagement
Provide guidance on HR processes (reviews, benefits, open enrollment, etc.)
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel and I-9 files
Assist with verifications, payroll questions, leave management, and audits
Analyze HR metrics to improve programs and policies
Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of HR generalist experience (employee relations focus)
