Morson are recruiting on behalf of a global aerospace and defence organisation for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team in Stevenage on a 12-month contract basis, with potential for extension. This is an excellent opportunity to provide both strategic and operational HR support within a complex, fast-paced environment. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 2–3 days per week required on site in Stevenage. As HR Business Partner, you will deliver a full range of HR services aligned to the organisation’s HR strategy. Acting as both “the voice of HR within the business and the voice of the business within HR,” you will contribute to key company objectives through proactive, value-adding HR interventions. You will work closely with senior leaders and managers to ensure HR policies, processes and initiatives are implemented effectively and consistently, supporting performance, engagement and organisational culture.
Job Responsibility:
Partner proactively with business leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR support
Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, employment law and best practice to ensure fair and consistent application
Drive performance management processes including performance and salary reviews
Support and guide managers through organisational change, focusing on the people impact
Lead on employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievance cases
Drive talent management, succession planning and internal mobility initiatives
Monitor key HR metrics including absence, attrition and headcount, providing regular data reports to leadership
Support recruitment activity and onboarding to ensure a high-quality candidate and manager experience
Requirements:
Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a complex organisation
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
