We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our team based out of one of our regional UK offices on a hybrid basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional or HR Generalist to take on a highly collaborative, commercially focused role, with scope to further develop strategic capability and influence across the business.
Job Responsibility
Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle
Support and manage employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters, escalating more complex issues where appropriate
Coach and support line managers to apply HR policies, procedures, and people practices consistently and fairly
Build effective relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and support the delivery of practical people solutions
Contribute to workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning activities for assigned business areas
Support recruitment, onboarding, and internal mobility processes in partnership with hiring managers and the wider HR team
Assist in delivering people initiatives and annual HR cycles such as performance reviews, engagement activity, learning and development, and policy rollouts
Use HR data and people metrics to identify trends, prepare reports, and support evidence-based decision-making
Promote an inclusive, positive employee experience and support initiatives that improve engagement and retention
Partner with colleagues across HR and the business to support change activities, process improvements, and organisational development initiatives
Ensure HR records, documentation, and processes are maintained accurately and in line with company policy, GDPR, and employment legislation
Keep up to date with employment law and HR best practice and apply this knowledge in day-to-day support
Requirements
Proven experience in a Senior HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or similar broad HR role
Solid employee relations experience, with the confidence to manage routine to moderately complex cases independently
Good working knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and HR best practice
Experience partnering with managers and providing pragmatic, people-focused advice
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience using HR systems and producing or interpreting HR data and reports would be an advantage
An understanding of talent, organisational development, and workforce planning processes would be beneficial
CIPD qualification, or working towards CIPD, or equivalent relevant experience
