Job Description

Beacon Hill's client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support senior leaders within their Digital, Data, and Technology division. This role serves as a strategic advisor, aligning business objectives with effective people and talent strategies that enable growth, performance, and engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the primary HR advisor for assigned senior leaders, developing trusted partnerships through consistent, hands-on support
  • Demonstrated ability to use a systems perspective and work with leaders to diagnose gaps between current and desired organizational performance. Prescribe and facilitate process improvements to include the right organizational design to meet the needs of the business. Skilled at aligning strategy, structure, and talent
  • Collaborate with leadership on organizational design initiatives to build scalable, efficient structures that enhance performance and clarity
  • Translate business priorities into practical workforce and talent strategies that support growth and employee engagement
  • Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence to execute core HR programs, including talent reviews, workforce planning, year-end processes, and culture initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end talent management efforts such as succession planning, talent assessments, and identification of high-potential employees
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, employee development, inclusion, and complex employee relations matters
  • Assess capability and skill gaps across teams and work with Learning & Development to implement targeted development solutions
  • Promote internal mobility, mentoring opportunities, and thoughtful development planning to strengthen career pathways
  • Support organizational change initiatives, ranging from incremental adjustments to large-scale transformations and restructures
  • Leverage data and workforce insights to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions that improve retention, engagement, and overall performance
  • Ensure HR policies, programs, and practices are applied consistently and equitably across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience and/or HRBP role supporting a technology division within a firm
  • Proficient in MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Understanding of employment law and ability to effectively navigate difficult employee relations issues
  • Knowledge of current laws and regulations such as OSHA, EEOC, FLSA and ADA required, with the ability to communicate the requirements effectively and lead compliance
  • Knowledge of performance management to include defining success, establishing measurements, providing feedback, and rewarding performance

Nice to have

  • Master's degree preferred
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
  • Experience in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
  • Experience in Financial Services
  • Proven history leading or co-leading strategic HR initiatives, with emphasis on talent and inclusive culture priorities
