Robert Half HR Solutions is currently recruiting for an onsite contract HR Business Partner for our client located in Gainesville GA. This contract engagement is expected to last about two months, beginning mid-May. Candidates must be able to start quickly and also the ideal candidate will not have any personal time off for the first 60 days of the engagement as this is a very busy time for the short duration. This onsite role blends day-to-day human resources support with higher-level partnership on employee relations, performance matters, and policy documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, advanced Excel skills, and the flexibility to work effectively with a range of leadership styles during normal business hours. Candidates who have experience using ADP Workforce Now will be given first consideration. If a candidate is bilingual in Spanish that is a wonderful capability and first consideration will also be given to those candidates.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with managers and employees to address workplace concerns, resolve employee relations matters, and support fair, consistent outcomes
Guide performance management activities by coaching leaders, documenting issues, and helping drive timely follow-up on employee performance concerns
Review, revise, and improve HR policies and handbook content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with current practices
Provide hands-on support for daily HR operations while also contributing to special projects that require both strategic thinking and practical execution
Adapt quickly to team needs and leadership preferences, building credibility across the organization through strong communication and sound judgment
Analyze HR-related data and reporting using advanced Excel to support decision-making and track key people-related activities
Assist with HR administration processes and use ADP Workforce Now where needed to support ongoing department operations
Participate in onboarding and knowledge transfer with the current team to quickly become effective during a high-demand period
Maintain a dependable onsite presence during standard business hours, with some flexibility based on operational needs
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in human resources, including substantial HR Business Partner responsibilities
Proven background in employee relations, including workplace investigations and issue resolution
Strong experience with performance management and advising leaders on employee-related matters
Ability to draft and revise HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret HR data
Experience with HR administration systems
familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is helpful
Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adjust quickly to different management styles
Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required
