The HR Business Analyst will be pivotal in bridging the gap between People processes, data, and technology by analysing People systems and workflows, providing actionable insights, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. This role is ideal for an individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for improving People functions through data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Analyse and interpret People data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for potential improvement
Work closely with the People Teams to develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for People initiatives
Assess current People processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement streamlined workflows and solutions
Ascertain data to understand the scale of inefficiencies in processes highlighted as inefficient
Add new requirements to JIRA and demand score those items against the agreed criteria
Write detailed User Stories for Group Technology to implement the required system updates
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing for system updates and process changes
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards
Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion HCM system modules
Attend Oracle Customer Connect HCM Events to understand new Oracle Fusion features being developed and released
Collaborate with the Technology and People teams to troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and support system upgrades
Provide training and support to People Team colleagues on new technologies and tools
Play a key role in ensuring Oracle Fusion quarterly releases are thoroughly tested
Act as a liaison between People Teams and other departments, aligning People strategies with business objectives
Support the People Leadership Team in strategic workforce planning and talent management initiatives
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR analytics, business analysis, or a related field
Strong proficiency in HR systems and tools such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle Fusion
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL or similar data analysis languages is preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
Nice to have:
Familiarity with data visualisation tools is desirable
