Our client, a well-established asset management firm, is seeking a Human Resources Associate to join its growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to step into the firm’s first dedicated HR position and play a highly visible role supporting day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle. This individual will help build and formalize HR processes while supporting onboarding and offboarding, HRIS administration, payroll and benefits coordination, recruiting support, and employee programs within a highly professional environment. Job Responsibility
Support day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle
Help build and formalize HR processes while supporting onboarding and offboarding, HRIS administration, payroll and benefits coordination, recruiting support, and employee programs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of Human Resources experience within an HR operations or HR generalist capacity within financial or professional services environments
Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, HR documentation, and HR data management
Familiarity with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance support required
Experience working with HRIS platforms
ADP experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Professional, polished, and trustworthy with the ability to handle highly confidential employee information discreetly
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership, employees, vendors, and external partners
Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously within a lean environment
Ability to work four days onsite in the New York City office
