Job Description:

We're looking for a HR Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Llangefni! This is a part-time role, 25 hours per week, and we can be flexible around hours & days. Do you love helping people? As a HR Assistant you will provide administration support to the HR Team and assist with esuring that our policies and procedures are implemented and maintained across Huws Gray.

Job Responsibility:

  • Co-ordinating/responding to the team HR Support queries
  • Answering general queries from colleagues/managers/external customers via various methods
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality when dealing with all sensitive data
  • Maintaining and updating the HR system with colleague data
  • Liaising directly with the branch network as well as the senior teams
  • Assisting and supporting the colleague lifecycle from starter to leaver including recruitment, employment contracts, induction, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, pay and benefits

Requirements:

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a range of people
  • Sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential issues
  • Attention to detail and high degrees of accuracy
  • A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel to branches as required
  • Professional approach in relation to dealing with colleague related HR issues
  • Sound working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
