The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources team and helps ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. This role assists with employee records, onboarding, scheduling, benefits administration, recruitment coordination, and general employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Job Responsibility
Support daily administrative tasks for the human resources department
Maintain and update employee files, records, and HR databases
Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
Coordinate interviews, schedules, and candidate communications
Help process employment-related documents such as offer letters, forms, and status changes
Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Assist with benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and other HR programs
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and personnel documentation as needed
Support payroll and timekeeping processes by gathering and organizing information
Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
Assist with HR projects, training coordination, and employee engagement activities
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ years of administrative, HR, office support, or related experience preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with HRIS systems and basic HR processes preferred
