Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department with daily administrative functions. The ideal candidate will assist with onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, recruitment coordination, and other HR-related activities. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This is a contract position located in Fresno, CA, working Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Support benefits enrollment and employee leave administration
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and personnel documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of Human Resources or administrative experience
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
