The Pensions Ombudsman is growing fast and is a great place to work. We have an exciting opportunity for an HR and L&D Officer to join our team based in Canary Wharf, where we currently operate an agile working policy of 20% office attendance and a flexible working culture. You will be working full or part-time on a permanent contract and will receive a competitive salary of £37,500 per annum pro rata.
Job Responsibility:
Focus on provision and implementation of the organisation’s Learning and Development Plan, putting in place learning initiatives that enable TPO to constantly evolve, develop, motivate and engage colleagues to ensure impactful knowledge and capability to deliver the organisations objectives and grow pensions expertise
Work with the relevant departments to identify the current and future skills requirements and create flexible learning interventions to meet the diverse needs of the workforce
Support the HR Advisor in other aspects of the employment lifecycle, including, recruitment, policy development and HR administration, as required
Requirements:
Lead on end-to-end Learning and Development activities ensuring implementation and design adhere to TPO policy, objectives and goals, producing necessary reporting, insights and trend analysis
Collaborate with department heads, managers and staff to identify L&D gaps and needs and develop L&D plans, maintaining records to track delivery and costs
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences that are cost efficient
Writing and updating HR policy, procedure, processes ensuring they comply with the latest legislation and best practice
Advise and coach managers on all HR policies and procedures
Lead on all aspects of leave management (annual, agile working, special, flexible working, study) and changes to working patterns
Conduct exit interviews as required and provide reports and insight
Undertake HR administration, tasks and projects commensurate with grade such as updating the HR information system, preparing management information reports, liaising with Finance on preparation of payroll, issuing of contracts and general on-boarding tasks
Undertake other HR related tasks and projects commensurate with grade, development requirements and business need, including overseeing and managing the HR inbox, HR administration and post when required
Working flexibly within the HR team and across Corporate Services as necessary and any other duties that may reasonably be required
