We’re looking for a proactive and people‑focused HR Advisor to support our growth at the Netherlands Logistics Centre (NLC) in Tilburg. In this role, you will partner closely with frontline leadership and employees, strengthening the employee experience and enabling smooth HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. Your focus includes learning & development, sickness guidance, recruitment and onboarding for frontline roles, and supporting HR projects that help our teams thrive.
Job Responsibility:
Advise and support managers and employees on everyday HR topics, ensuring smooth and consistent HR support across NLC
Coordinate recruitment for frontline roles (including agency‑to‑payroll conversions), manage onboarding for all roles, and support smooth offboarding
Guide sickness and absence processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers, supporting employees through recovery and return‑to‑work pathways
Support core learning and development activities for frontline teams, helping to strengthen essential skills and capabilities
Play a key role in Employee Experience, organizing engagement initiatives and events such as New Year celebrations, holiday activities, and other moments that bring our people together
Manage HR administration and payroll‑related processes, including maintaining accurate employee data, handling timesheets, preparing documentation, and supporting payroll activities
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen HR processes, enhance collaboration, and support a positive culture at NLC
Requirements:
HBO/Bachelor level education, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
Strong HR operational and administrative skills, with experience managing the full employee lifecycle
Sound knowledge of Dutch labor law (required) and the ability to apply it in day‑to‑day HR cases
Experience in an international, multicultural environment and a proactive, structured way of working
Solid advisory skills, with the ability to support and guide frontline leadership
Experience working with blue‑collar/frontline populations is a strong advantage
Strong communication skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and proficiency with MS Office
Comfortable communicating in English
Dutch is required for communication with Government agencies
