We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor (CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards, or equivalent HR experience) to join our busy and growing People team. Job Responsibility
Contribute to the smooth running of the People team
Use your expert HR and employment law knowledge to provide clear advice and support to the services
Support and coach managers with matters such as disciplinary, grievance, absence
Review current policies and practices and ensure all policies are fit for purpose in collaboration with the Head of HR and People Director
Be pro-active in challenging what is currently in place and how improvements can be made
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing colleague experience, improving retention, and increasing overall employee satisfaction
Ensure compliance sign-off and auditing of all new starter documentation and onboarding packs, maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to company policies and employment legislation
Work with key stakeholders to understand HR requirements and provide practical solutions to business challenges
Be able to understand and provide HR reporting as required for the different services
Work towards and achieve both personal and team targets on a monthly and weekly basis
Travel as and when required
Requirements
CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards, or equivalent HR experience
Strong HR and Employment law knowledge
Strong, clear communication skills both verbally and written
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
Experience of using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records
The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and strong problem-solving skills
Highly organised and skilled in managing multiple HR projects/work and priorities
Positive friendly attitude
