Job Responsibility:
Partner with the HRBP to address general welfare and employee relations (ER) queries, ensuring individuals have clear information and access to appropriate support services
Provide guidance to employees and managers on firm policies, HR processes, and employment legislation relevant to the region
Identify when complex issues require escalation or specialist input
Lead on day‑to‑day HR operational activity including contract changes, flexible working requests, joiner and leaver processes, and parental/family leave matters in partnership with the People Services Hub
Manage straightforward ER cases (e.g., basic performance matters, low‑level disciplinary and grievance issues), coaching managers to handle issues effectively
Support HRBP with more complex ER matters, restructures or reorganisations, and sensitive departures, including preparation of relevant documentation
Support regional performance review cycles, salary/bonus processes, promotion rounds, and moderation sessions
Help prepare and facilitate succession planning discussions and career development pathways across both fee‑earning and GBS teams
Contribute to workforce planning discussions, providing insights that support effective resource deployment across the region
Support with coordination of hiring approvals, role reviews, and early talent processes where applicable
Work with the HRBP to report on HR metrics and people KPIs, analyse trends, and provide practical recommendations
Maintain data accuracy, ensuring the integrity of HR systems and the quality of data used to guide business decisions
Contribute to regional or global HR initiatives, including culture, engagement, inclusion & diversity, learning programmes, and policy development
Build strong, trust‑based relationships with partners, business leaders, and functional stakeholders across fee‑earning and GBS areas
Collaborate closely with wider HR teams—including Talent, Reward, People Services, and L&D—to deliver aligned and consistent HR support
Maintain working knowledge of employment legislation relevant to the region and demonstrate sound judgment in applying policy and legal principles
Provide timely policy advice and help ensure a consistent and compliant approach across the business
Stay up to date with external HR best practice and contribute ideas to continually improve HR service delivery
Requirements:
Previous HR experience at Coordinator/Advisor level, ideally within a professional services or similarly fast‑paced, matrix environment
Solid understanding of HR processes, policy interpretation, and employment legislation within the region
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders
Proactive, solution‑focused, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
Excellent written communication and report‑writing capability
Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider HR team
High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
Comfortable working with data, identifying trends, and turning insights into recommendations
Flexible and adaptable, able to operate in a global, evolving environment
