We’re seeking an experienced HR advisor to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll work closely with key stakeholders and leaders to help deliver our people strategy and provide high-quality HR support across the firm. As a trusted advisor, you will guide and coach our people managers through a range of employee relations matters, support leaders in navigating people challenges, and play an active role in key HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide remit, build strong relationships, and make a meaningful impact. Based in our Grimsby office and reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll join a friendly, multi‑functional, and fast‑paced HR team that values collaboration. Travel to our other office locations will be required.
Job Responsibility:
Provide clear, pragmatic advice and support in line with employment legislation and internal company policies and procedures
Handle general HR enquiries, ensuring an efficient and customer focused service delivery
Support a wide range of operational HR related activities including employee relations, performance and absence management, employee engagement, and family leave processes
Produce and analyse a range of regular HR reports and management information
Develop and review HR policies to ensure compliance with legislation and alignment with organisational goals
Deliver key HR initiatives across the employee life cycle
Contribute to the delivery and effectiveness of several people led projects including wellbeing, values and behaviours and our employee forum
Requirements:
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) with 2 to 3 years generalist HR experience
Good understanding of UK employment law
Structured and organised, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
Able to work with diplomacy and maintain high levels of confidentiality
A strong team player but able to work independently in a busy environment
Confident IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
