Job Responsibility:
Acting as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues on a wide range of HR and employee relations matters
Taking the lead on complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and sickness absence, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally sound approach
Supporting strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational culture
Delivering manager training and contributing to people projects within the company along with a group perspective
Requirements:
Significant experience of dealing with people issues including disciplinary and grievance, TUPE and capability
Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Legislation and HR Best Practice along with the ability to put this into practice
Excellent verbal / written communication skills and active listening skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across the business
Strong attention to detail
A good ability to multitask and prioritise workload
High level of trust and integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues
A genuine values champion who will demonstrate the behaviours that underpin our values
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
CIPD qualification, or equivalent experience
Decision making, evaluation of risk, sound judgement and problem-solving skills
